MESSAGE 5:

To recap, we mentioned about: 1. Obedience out of LOVE. 2. Responsibility out of LOVE. 3. Justice out of LOVE. 4. Compassion out of LOVE. 5. Peace out of LOVE. 6. Mercy out of LOVE. Today, we shall complete this topic by completing the last 3 of the 9 motivations of Christ out of LOVE. 7. Humility out of LOVE. We could never fully understand Christ’s love for us “Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” (Philippians 2:6-8). He was born in a humble setting (Luke 2:7). His own town folks did not believe in Him (Matthew 13:53-58 & Luke 4:28-30). By His own people, He was treated like a criminal (Matthew 27:15-26) and was rejected to the point of crucifying Him on the Cross. He could have called legions of ang...

MESSAGE 4:

MESSAGE 4: ALBA-  Motivation of Christ out of LOVE. Part 2 To recap, we mentioned about: 1. Obedience out of LOVE. 2. Responsibility out of LOVE. 3. Justice out of LOVE. Today, we will focus on the next 3 out of the 9 motivations of Christ out of LOVE. 4. Compassion out of LOVE. Mark 6:34: “And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So, He began to teach them many things.” Matthew 14:14: “And when Jesus went out, He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.” We can also read of Jesus emphasizing this in the story of “The Good Samaritan” in Luke 10:25-37. Compassion is defined as “That (human) disposition that fuels acts of kindness and mercy. It is a form of love, aroused within us when we are confronted with those who suffer or are vulnerable. Compassion often produces action to alleviate the suffering.” It embodies a tangible exp...

MESSAGE 3:

Praying for God’s presence, protection, providence and peace be upon you and your household! May you be blessed with today’s message and spiritual songs. Blessed Sunday and the week ahead! MESSAGE 3: ALBA- Motivation of Christ out of LOVE. Part 1 From our quest to discover our SHAPE, it has led us to focus on spiritual maturity by growing our character as presented by Dr. David Jeremiah in his book ALBA on the fruit of the Spirit. Before we study the teachings from the book, we’ve established the fact that it is a fruit that has 9 important ingredients; not 9 fruits of the Spirit and each fruit represents a born-again believer who, rightly so, is on a journey towards maturity. The formation of these ingredients is of utmost importance because it could well determine the quality of the lives we live now and how they will be evaluated by God in its eternity. Out of the 9 ingredients the first is LOVE. We believe that it is the most integral and foundational part of the formation pro...

MESSAGE 2:

Message 2: ALBA- INTRODUCTION PART 2 Before we start with the first of the nine traits of the fruit of the Spirit from “A LIFE BEYOND AMAZING” (ALBA) ©️ 2017 by Dr. David P. Jeremiah, let’s consider two key aspects of the main scriptures in Galatians 5:22-23 which state:  “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” 1. Why “fruit” not “fruits”. A tree can produce many fruits but each fruit must have the right qualities to be called a good fruit. Some fruits may fall before harvest time, could not grow to its proper size or may be infested by worms but the maturely developed and healthy ones are the prized possessions of all planters.  Each fruit represent a believer whose goal in his abiding relationship with God is to mature in his character. The fruit of the Spirit is produced as a result of the working of the Holy Spirit in the lives of every believer. It req...

MESSAGE 1:

The “one year delayed” Tokyo Olympics comes to a close today, after about 2 weeks of exciting drama of sports showcases. Those who won medals stand in the accolades of glory, representing their respective countries and being part of this amazing human achievements. However, if we measure the sheer effort, discipline, commitment and sacrifices made by all the athletes, surely more medals should be deservingly accorded. We believe that God will reward us fairly according to our individual “done my best performances”. He will not just reward the top 3 but everyone according to what Christ has done for us and how we have responded to Him as His children. He is more concern of our being than doing, our giving than receiving and our character than achievements. It is not the absence of one than the other but the priority of quality over quantity, of inner over outward beauty/successes. He is looking into the quality of our living, serving, giving… in all aspects of our lives. This bring...
