Greetings!
Praise God for His grace as we near the end of Year 2021.
As a church, we have not met physically for nearly 2 years! As per the previous message, this pandemic has an adverse effect on the church generally and specifically too for our church here in SCF. We hope that we will not be part of the statistics where churches are closed or on the verge of closure.
We have no intention nor keen to fault-finding; be it with the pandemic, hypocrisy of the carnal church leadership, economic strains, health concerns, non-commitment from members… well the list can go on. The main question is “Will you continue to grow as an individual church and will you continue to grow as a church family and serve in SCF?” I can imagine the silence here. To be fair- on both sides of the coin, some want while others do not wish to return to SCF. Some want the church to continue while others do not mind if SCF ceases.
As the pastor, I cannot force anyone to come back to church- this is a free will setting where attendance, service and offerings are concern. I would wish SCF to continue but would also understand some would disagree. Perhaps some have found and are more comfortable with another church or another online church program.
For todays’ message, which is unusually specific to SCF and very personal to me, I would like you to consider the main question as stated above. If you wish to continue with SCF, kindly PM (personal message) me and I’ll be most encouraged and willing to continue serving as the pastor. If the response is very poor then SCF will no longer continue as usual but will perhaps only continue with the Friday Chapel Services for the homeschool students. I seek your prayers for this crucial and critical point of SCF.
The continuous downpour and rainy season are spiritually discerned by some as the sign of the “last days latter rain” or the tears of many struggling churches. Oh, how we need a discerning heart!
Ephesians 5:6–10: “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore, do not become partners with them; for at one time, you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.”
Physically, do be extra careful especially if you’re travelling during this festive season.
Wishing you a Joyous Christmas & Favourable Year 2022!
Stay safe & blessed!

At such, we will carry on with the ministry of SCF, albeit subject to the following:
1) We will meet once a month. The 1st meeting will be on Sun, Jan 16 @ 10.30am.
2) We will follow the SOPs set by the government. Please do not fear rather to have faith to fulfil Hebrews 10:25.
3) We need you to sign up in the worship team & children ministry during sermon time.
